Car Hire Larnaca City

Most travelers first see Cyprus at Larnaca, which is the second port and the site of an international airport. No welcome could be sunnier: at Larnaca, deep blue seas meet bright sand beaches under incomparably brilliant skies.

Larnaca is Cyprus’ third largest town, and is very much a tourist town with a pretty, palm-fringed, seaside promenade on the sunny, south coast of Cyprus. The Mediterranean island joined the European Union on 1 May 2004.

The Anthestiria Festival is an annual festival and is a celebration of spring and nature’s rebirth. A parade of flower floats and people carrying beautiful, fresh flowers fills the seafront promenade of Larnaca.

Every summer, Larnaca hosts a festival of music and performing arts. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort and also at the Pattichion Amphitheatre. Performances include national and international talent from around the world.

Larnaca enjoys fine weather forecast nearly all year round. The climate is typically Mediterranean but may become extremely hot during mid-July through August. This, in itself, is not a problem but throw in a high humidity forecast, and during mid-afternoon the weather may become uncomfortable.
